Villain is a nitty regular but aggressive maybe 16/10. Probably one of the better players in the game.

I bet the turn because I would with ATC. The fact that he's probably aware of this makes me want to call the river kinda, but who knows whats best. Also note that theres about 190 in the pot on the river.

What is this guy limp/calling from EP with? Low pp's for sure, but I can't believe he'd slowplay a set on this board? Maybe as a change-up if you guys play against each other a lot. I guess he might limp/call sc's, so the flush is in play, but I'm surprised a nitty regular would c/c two streets oop with a draw vs. another nitty regular. A post-flop read about how he plays sets or draws on 2-tone flops would be helpful.

Basically his line makes no sense so I want to call getting almost 3:1.

His limp/call preflop seems like a small PP or SC's. Flop c/c could be a set sometimes, a FD, or setting up for a bluff. Turn c/c doesn't change much, except it is a lot less likely he has a FD and more likely he has a set. I think that if he had a set he could be planning on just shoving any river since so much money would be in and you might put him on a missed draw enough to call, but if he had a FD he would want to c/r the turn for FE. However, since the river made the flush i guess it doesn't matter whether he had a set or a FD on the turn. I just don't think this is a bluff hardly ever, and so i would fold even with the 3:1 pot odds, especially seeing as he probably knows you are tight. If the flush didn't come in this would be a much easier call for me.

I think this is fairly close, but i would be curious to know how often he has seen you double barrel bluff? If he thought you were just bluffing the turn, he would definitely want to c/c turn shove river with a set hoping you improve or make a thin call thinking he missed a draw, and c/r AI turn with a FD to rep a strong hand. If he were bluffing i would think he would c/r turn as well since he would want the FE there too.

a flush is all he's representing, we're all in on the turn if he has a set. And considering his preflop stats, unless he's mixing it up with a very unorthodox limpcall pre with weak Axs, its really hard for him to have a flush here.

He's smart enough to know that i have nothing on this river a lot.

did you think of shoving the turn? if hes the type to never slowplay a set (when we can pretty sure hes not playing A8s like this) then shoving the turn with ATC is awesome
