If he's loose and aggressive, it's probably an easy call. If he's tight and aggressive, I figure he has to have wired aces, Queens, Jacks or suited connectors for a made flush - so then it's a coin flip, which based on the bet and pot, a call is appropriate, but don't be surprised if you lose

Second hand looks fine to me.

Hand 1 sucks because 90% of river donkbets are fishes hitting their flush and panicking at the thought of a check behind. It's a fact I read in the wall street journal. But you gotta call, I suppose.
