Again apologies if this is standard. What is the correct river line here? Opp is 32/9/1.8 over 180 hands.
(YAY SNGs where all decisions are made before the turn).
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
MP1 ($48.40)
MP2 ($19.80)
CO ($44.65)
Button ($4.10)
SB ($23.30)
Hero ($59.95)
UTG ($26.05)
UTG+1 ($38.10)
Preflop: Hero is BB with 5 , 8 .
2 folds, MP1 calls $0.25, 2 folds, Button calls $0.25, 1 fold, Hero checks.
Flop: ($0.85) 3 , 8 , 5 (3 players)
Hero bets $0.5, MP1 calls $0.50, Button folds.
Turn: ($1.85) 9 (2 players)
Hero bets $1.8, MP1 calls $1.80.
River: ($5.45) T (2 players)

Not sure what we're beating by the river here, but giving up seems too weak. I probably just block for $2.50 or so against a fish. Against a player who's more tight passive postflop, maybe just check and fold to a bet. I think most hands we beat check behind here anyways.

(block) bet, fold to a raise.
check/call reasobaly bet is ok
check and fold to any bet is too weak imo.
This spot is easy for villain to bluff, so it's likely you catch of a bluff.
Maybe bet the flop a bit more. You're charging a flush draw enough that way to call off these reasonably river bets and still be a winner in the long run.

I agree with this but there are alot of hands that beat us now and I'd rather block/fold for $2.50-$3.00 than c/c $5-$6 since it is a very slim call.
