You don't give a read so that makes it tough, but with no raise pre-flop I put him on a set of 7s or possibly Js, 'cause he's repping a very good hand post-flop, but he could've had top two pair as well... Me, I'd call his raise instead of re-raising and go from there...

You cant really put your stack in hoping for a split really.
I didn't really have a read on this guy.

You asked for a cheaper way and that's it. You put a good chunk of your stack in with your reraise, so your point is moot. Either fold if you put him on a set or call and see another card.

Sorry I misread your first post. I thought you ment call his very last raise before my fold.
So you call and bet into him on the turn, if he raises again your out? If not, cheap showdown.

That's about the size of it. I'd at least want to give myself a chance to make my fh for the right price.

check raise the flop because of position imo despite the dangerous flop, someone has a piece of that in an unraised pot. I think if opp comes back over the check raise i go bust if he can beat my top two.
I think you dont get showdown without playing for stacks in this pot so id call the reraise (assuming your check raise got reraised) and here id call too. If he puts it in on the turn free of clubs im having a tough time putting top two down. I guess its one of the situations i allow myself to go broke.

The money is pretty deep, but I think I play for stacks here too without more information on our opponent.
