I know this is read dependent; something I'm working on . But only 14 hands on villain, 29%/0%/0.67.

He's in the blinds (pot limit game with 2 big blinds posted), so he could have been slowplaying K8, K3, 83, Q3, Q8 as well as 88 or 33. Maybe he turned a FD with Kh. This isn't the classic flop-check/call, turn-check/min-raise line that most sets give (why so big of a check-raise?), though, so I opted to gambool with <100BB stacks at stake. I didn't think it mattered terribly if I just called the turn or pushed there as I figured we were going all-in at the river anyway (anything wrong with that thinking, BTW? It might save me ~1/2 a stack if the river brings a heart, 8, or 3 and gives him a chance to bluff off the rest of his stack if it's a brick. Or should I not be looking for a reason to get away from this hand and just push the turn?).

Isn't this a no-brainer? I know very little of pot limit (only what I've read in books) but I would rarely considering folding this to a push even in NL, especially at these stakes. Definitely push this turn. You don't want to second guess yourself on the river, and you're leading a lot of hands you put in his range. Good for him if he has a set.
Sidenote : Why are you open limping kqs? Seems like raise or muck to me. Only saying this because I've noticed in Poker Tracker that KQs and KQo are two of my biggest losers mainly because I've been calling a lot of raises pf and then finding myself in a sticky situation. Just some food or thought, i'm a pl noob.

I'll almost never call a PFR with KQs, and if I do it's only because there were 2 other cold callers. In a raised pot I'm only playing this for two pair, a straight, or flush. If it's raised after me and there's no guarantee that the pot will be more than HU, I'll gladly muck since I figure I'm up against a dominating A or PP. If I don't raise, I might catch someone playing some other spade suited connector (taking the tiny chance that I let Asxs in cheap) or a hand that I dominate like KJ/KT. Tha't my logic at the moment, anyway, not factoring in table image or metagame stuff. KQs UTG is a marginal hand but one I want to see a cheap unraised flop with at least. I used to be a raise-first-in-or-muck kind of guy, but at this stage in my learning that was just more chip spewage as I think others caught on and used that to trap me after not too long.

I'm always gonna raise KQs/off if it's folded to me mainly because I'm playing 6 max. Full ring it's definitely a different story. It's nightmarish playing KQ oop with just a pair.
