I figured this guy was so pot-committed by the river that he almost couldn't fold, but apparently he didn't think so. Should I have raised less on the river? He only had $70 left at that point.

I would play that the same way too..I'm stuck on WTF this guy has. He calls a raise on the turn. Comes out betting (If this his bluff attempt, he is terrible) on the river and then folds.

agreed, gotta push there, if he calls 32 more he'll call 70 more most of the time. i dunno what he had either, probably aq or something and he didn't realize how overattached he was until the river.
