I don't think you need to throw in a raise of 30 here... I think about $20 gives you the same information from him.

What's this retard doing betting $5.5 into a $30 pot, he definatley hit the flop either via TPTK or some type of draw I would lean more towards just the pair something like A9 or more likley K9, his bet is a cut-off bet ( i think ) his hand is unlikley to improve and he does not want to have an expensive showdown.

I think your flop play is good, i think BB was on the flush draw and you got him off it. Considering SB only has $17 left after his $5.5 bet i think your bet is good.

I make it 12 on the flop. I like putting the SB to the test on the turn here.

I'm not trying to get information. I'm essentially making him play for his entire stack, I'm not trying to showdown here. I'm not trying to see the river with money left to bet.

With almost $40 in the pot and his stack only $17, I'm putting him all in at that point to protect the pot, and put him to a tuff decision. I'd play the same way. I would hate to see 4 to the flop though..

I know, that is what makes the $30 bet arbitrary. A $17 bet would essentially do the same thing.
