Pretty simple question. This guy has raised 2% of hands preflop after 350 hands.

I figure im up against JJ+ or AK. Probably KK+.

If he has QQ, JJ and I hit then he gets away from it.

If he has KK, AA and I hit im screwed.

If I miss i fold.

Good fold preflop?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (7 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

CO ($4)
Button ($4.75)
Hero ($14.35)
BB ($2.90)
UTG ($9.90)
MP1 ($8.25)
MP2 ($23.30)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K, A. CO posts a blind of $0.10.
1 fold, MP1 calls $0.10, MP2 raises to $0.40, 2 folds, Hero Folds, BB calls $0.30, MP1 calls $0.30
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

So 1/5 you'll tie, 2/5 you got <50% to hit on the flop and it would be obvious too so no likely destacking, 2/5 you're dead. Yeah..

It plays like dogshit OOP against a typical raiser in my game. ReRaise or fold for me quite often.

AK.. dominated by AA/KK.. cointoss vs all pps below.. 2:1 vs unpaired cards below.. it's only advantage is that it dominates the other hands people frequently raise with like AQ etc so in 6max it plays ok.

But never really liked it all that much to be honest.. especially since all the <20BB buyin campers seem to throw themselves all-in with any low pp these days..

(and by 'these days' I mean the last couple of days)

Oh hell yea. Im getting it allin everytime with the shortstacks unless I have a read that says they are the camping for AA type.

This was about AK against very tight preflop raisers.

Fnord, would you have called/reraised this guy in position. I would have folded anyway. Cant put himon anything other than AA,KK, AK here. The only thing hes got going for him is that I dont have 1000+ hands on him so it could be that hes going through a cold run of cards. I doubt it though. Havnt seen him showdown QQ- yet either limpted or otherwise so I dont have much to go on.

More inclined to re-raise. Against a 2% PFR kinda guy AKo is toilet paper. Let the Wookie win small pots all night.
