I'd been doing fairly well so far in this 90-player 5$ SnG. I've been at the same table with the same people pretty much all game, and over the course of the SnG I've established a fairly TAG image.

Villain in this hand (UTG+1) seems to be the best player at the table. He has been playing quite TAG as well and has made many good reads/bets to prevent others from attempting a bluff or draw. What confuses me about this hand is that he simply limped/called preflop when, for the most part, he has raised premium hands.

I have also had the goods at about 85% of my showdowns so far. Did he really limp/call with AJ or an overpair here? I really don't think he immediately puts me on a C-bet.

Stack sizes:
UTG: t2880
UTG+1: t4295
MP1: t1830
Hero: t4510
MP3: t5925
CO: t5545
Button: t5610

Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is MP2 with Q K
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls t60 (pot was t90), MP1 folds, Hero raises to t220, 5 folds, UTG+1 calls t160 (pot was t370).

Flop: 4 5 J (t530, 2 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero bets t350, UTG+1 raises to t1500, Hero folds.
Uncalled bets: t1150 returned to UTG+1.

Final pot: t1230

Looks pretty standard to me.. although the large raise seems kinda suspicious.. maybe a diamond draw?

Sorry about the wrong forum, I just figured it was a hand history that needed critiquing, and this seemed like the appropriate place for it.

And obviously I'm not planning to call with K high, hence the fold. Given what I already said in my initial post and his action, I was curious what he might be doing this with.

He's probably made a hand here, but possibly he knows you're c-betting and a raise will drive you out.
