this guy was raising a lot and i definitely had him pegged as loose. i figured he had high cards on the turn and im not sure if you guys like my play or not. i think the flop-call-turn-raise is one of my most common moves. i use it when i have a monster and when i have absolutely nothing.

anyway, id like to hear thoughts.

only 100nl btw.

Looks good to me. No idea why he would call the turn and check the river there unless he had some kind of draw.

Whenever I try this I seem to always run into some guy holding a pocket pair or middle connectors. I bet it works better in 100NL rather than 25NL.

It takes giant ballz to pull this move in the dark. If you see someone playing tight, and announcing high pockets preflop with differential bets, then it's a good play to do this against them with position on a rag board. You have to be right about 75% of the time to make this play profitable, and you need to be heads up or your +EV can get shot to hell by that third opponent who occassionally slowplays something.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

What would you have done if that third heart didn't show up? Would you still have made this same play?
