2 pair is not a license to print money. Don't limp with that crap.

Well aren't you just a ray of sunshine...

How about playing at the $200 NL tables where they might know better than to make that call. Or maybe sitting down with a full stack so you can better punish players that make that call and have better implied odds when you limp with suited junk.

*Shudder* $200NL

I imagine the fish count drops like the Indian population when white man came. Perhaps I could trade them some beads for say, their whole stack?

Yeah, the way to avoid that situtaion is not to limp with garbage like j7 suited. Even if you hit your flush you can't be too safe, you hit two pair then your boat and got dominated by a better hand. Hope this helps.

And you've been at FTR for how long?!?

Fnord's caustic wit is what made me join FTR in the first place.

Oh yeah, and his poker advice isn't shabby either

Oh yeah he is great isnt he. He helped me a quite a bit when I first started. It seemed like him and ttanaka were the only great players. But there were only 30 members back then too. I know he tells it how it is and doesnt care who you are and doesnt try to be nice I just found this one to be great.

Yeah and the usual sweet part was an intentional exageration :P

Yeah, I haven't been here long but ive noticed that Fnord is really "direct" in his comments, to say the least, however I think that thats the way it should be
Keep up the good work Fnord!

He is direct and to the point and usually right. Limping in with that crap is bad enough, but you called a pre flop raise with it to boot. You are asking to take a beating.
-It seemed like a good idea at the time-
