I don't post many hands here...but this basically sums up why people are usually big losers at online poker. NL100 here, we both have deep stacks. (Sorry I don't have a hand converter, the site I play on is terrible for hand histories)

Villian is MP ($168.10)
Ultimate George is button ($143.5)

Cards dealt to Ultimate George :As: :Ad:

UTG calls $1, Villian raises $2.50, Ultimate George raises to $9, UTG folds, Villian calls $6.50.

Flop

Villian bets $2.25, Ultimate George raises to $13, Villian calls $10.75.

Turn

River

Villian bets $82.50, Ultimate George raises to $85.50 (and is all-in), Villian instacalls $3.

That's all I can think of here.

I just can't figure out what this meathead is thinking. With our stacks so deep why get into a pissing match to find out that you're wrong? Why not find out you're beat earlier? A simple reraise preflop or on any street (besides the river) would have given him the information he needed to know what I wasn't 'effing around.

I never once thought about 88. Thought maybe JJ, QQ, or KK. But even then I think I get reraised hard at some point. Only hand I was generally concerned about was 77. I wasn't worried about A7 or K7, or something silly like that because of my reraise preflop. If he's got 77, though, I'll pay it off on a board like that in a heartbeat.

Not really, there are enough donks who will move all in whenever they can beat the board, they never take their opponents hand into consideration - thats why overbetting in NL is key.

If he showed 7-2 off suit, you make this guy your new best friend, never leave his side.
