Table is a little loose and aggro. Mix of fish and aggro players.

8 Handed $200 NL $1/$2 blinds
I have about $230
I have and limp UTG
2 players follow, then an aggro player make it $6, everyone with money in the pot calls.

6 to the flop for $36
Flop is
I check planning to push depending on the action. It's checked through
Turn is
SB wakes up and bets $8, BB calls, I call, everyone else folds.
3 to the river for $45.60
River is :Jd:
SB goes all-in for $64.15, BB folds, I fold

Same game, I have $256 and am on the button with
4 limpers in front, I follow, SB completes, BB makes it $10 flat, 2 folds, MP calls, fold, I call, SB folds.

3 to the flop with $36 in the pot

BB bets $2, we all call.
3 to the turn with $42 in the pot
:Ac:
BB bets $12, MP folds, I call
heads-up to the river with $65 in the pot.

BB checks, I surrender

For what it's worth, I really don't like my play in either hand but am trying to figure out a better line here...

Hand 1: On the flop, I'll almost always bet 2/3rds the pot there. You'll really get a sense of where you are and how many outs you can count. This hand is ugly, but I don't think there's another way to play it, given the flop.

Hand 2: If the flop looked a bit scarier you could buy it on the river.

Damn, these are tough hands. I play hand 2 the same.

Smithers, use the amnesia ray.
You mean the revolver, sir?
Precisely.

Hand 1 - I think you ride the Aggro's back into a heads up. Re-raise Preflop...Sounds a little crazy I know but being UTG you can probably scare the other limpers out...I think a min raise could even do it. Aggro's hate preflop min raises from solid players especially when they feel they've been slowplayed from out of POS.

Hand 2 - 3 to the flop for a 36 pot on 78s...little loose maybe (course his crappy flop bet made it worth it). Other than that I agree with 'rilla you played it right.
Superb play sir...I always call 20% of my stack off with a gutshot draw. Excuse me while I race for my wallet.

Am I better off heads-up vs Aggro or in a multi-pot vs bad players with a pretty good drawing hand?

Deep money and they tend to under-bet.

I play a much different style than you...I prefer to be HU no matter what I play. I like that most people think their top pair is good till raised or re-raised.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...I bluff too much for my own good.
