I was wondering if I was correct to raise the flop so hard and not smooth call to bring other Ks along if there are any. Any other criticism of my play of the hand is welcome.

Smooth calling that flop will only lead to bad things.

Okay thx. Just afterwards I thought about the 2 guys that folded to my raise and I wondered if I could have got more $$ out of this hand. I guess doubling is good enough for me =)

I don't like how you played that hand preflop, at all. You see 2 limpers, a raise, then a call. LAY DOWN A HUGE RAISE. Most of the time with this many people going to flop, your going to get outflopped... It's bound to happen. With this many people seeing the flop you were not the favorite to win (Saying your cards vs everyone elses)

Smooth calling that flop is bad, definitly raise huge so his Kx will be commited later on.

Well played post flop, horribly played preflop.

So how much do you consider a HUGE RAISE to be? A raises to $4, $5? or more?

Definitly raise to 4 or 5. By you calling, you gave everyone else good odds to call behind you.

I think you played it fine, perhaps a larger preflop raise, because you know that at least 2 of them will call your raise of $2.75.

The more I think about it though, your probably losing your money to an 8 or KK either way here, but if you smooth call, the only bad card on the turn would be a club. or king, because youve got you 2 pair already. So if you did smooth call it could have been good but you gotta raise turn hard if you do.
