Malfunction
$25 NL cash table, very loose game..i flopped almost the nuts (straight and flush) and just hoped for luck, which costed me alot. should i have folded right away or played different?

Calling that raise was a bad move preflop.That is just not a good hand u had.

You're saying you don't call a 1xBB raise from the BB with a suited Ace in hopes of getting your flush?

 well, your hand wasn't almost the nuts at all, his set was way ahead of you the whole time. At 25nl, I think i play this exactly like you did. Your odds were pretty good because of all the callers, so i think this was ok even up against a set, and you can get paid at the end at least a little bit if you make your hand with no board pair.
i betcha that i got something you ain't got, that's called courage, it don't come from no liquor bottle, it ain't scotch

Statistically you can call these down with 3 others in the pot all day - you'll hit roughly half of the time - but I'm of the opinion that this is a fold preflop from any other position. Tough hand to get in the BB.
