NH sir.
Only thing I change is the flop bet to PSB. The check raise is kinda scary, but I don't see how you can fold there. I want to see a turn card.
Check-behind on turn is very nice.
River plays itself!

I thought this was by design and exactly what you'd want him to do with his pair of sevens or eights.

It can also fit a pattern of a TAG playing AJs and trying to buy his way to the river... which he did... how many 'n' levels do we really want to go here? How much credit do we want to give the villian here??
Villian doesn't have 77 or 88 here based on the river action, but based just on the flop action it's feasable though. I still want to pot that flop to get rid of him chasing the flush. Also, I kinda doubt that he fast plays that flop with 33, that raise doesn't look like it really wants to be called...
At showdown, I expect to see AXs for the nut flush, 33, or AT, Villian (unless a complete donk) will easily lay down 77 or 88 at this juncture.

NO WE HAVE TRIPS 2ND BEST KICKER ON A DRY BOARD.
Hell I still have trouble folding TPTK on a dry board for 100bb
Wait, this is 25NL? I dont fold TPMK for 100bb on a dry board.

lol, okay. i've seen lots of players shut down without at least top kicker on paired boards, and i've seen lots of players only play heavy here when they mostly have us beat. so just looking for others' observations.

Alright, I had just finished an 8hr session and I was in a poor mood last night.
Wuf, in full ring at $25NL you could make a case for folding TPTK on dry boards, 2pr, etc. but I'd be very hardpressed to ever fold trips (there is a diff. between this and a set, if you have a set on this board you actually have a boat)

Hmm...this makes me wonder if I don't value trips high enough. Do you think there is a case to be made in the above hand to reraise on the flop? Bet the turn?
On another note, villain turns over 33 after the hand, what do we think of his play? Thanks for the replies so far.

I don't see the point of the free card on the turn. I re-raise the flop and bet turn. As played, you are lucky the diamond that hit was a K.
If villain had 33, he should be betting turn and then harder on river.

Stacks are getting in on this board no matter what.
If either of you had a little more aggression it would have been sooner or later.
