Im going to try and play 10K hands today, 12 tabling 100NL full ring. Im hoping to run at at least 2 ptbb/100 but that is a secondary goal. I just want to get in the hands as long as I can continue to play relatively well the entire time regardless of how I run.

Ive been on a downsing for the last week or so, but I just finished reading NL holdem, theory and practice and am ready to play some solid poker.

This is the first time Ive tried playing such a long session so I will allow myself a couple breaks for lunch and or workout.

I will try to post hand histories and results as I go. GL to me.

That's going to take about 15 hours. To what do you attribute the downswing? If it is a leak in your game, I don't think marathon 12-table sessions are the answer. If it's variance, I can understand why you want to ride it out through alot of hands, but I imagine your play will suffer tremendously after 8 or so hours.
<SrslySirius> Hal Lubarsky, my nemesis.
<SaltLick> are you seriously losing to a blind guy

I playd about 75,000 hands of 100NL and ran about 5.5 ptbb/100 last month. This month has only been about 20K hands so far and Im going through some gross variance. Mainly KK running into AA in situations that its impossible to fold, (ie. against loose donks who wake up with AA, button vs blinds, and lots of dead money pots) Also a couple set over sets in raised pots. I may have spewed a couple buyins being overly aggro/tilt this month though.

If Im playing to badly, I will quit but Im going to try my best to make it through. Ill keep posting hands. If things start to look gross, I hope Ill be able to notice my play deteriorating but if I cant, hopefully some FTRs' will let me know here.

I got 15 hours in me

PS. Im very close to making Supernova and may get it during this session also.

Feel free to comment on some of my play. Another reason for starting this thread/challenge is to improve my play and discuss hands.

Also, this is my first post like this so let me know if Im posting too many hands without waiting for responses, or if the hands Im posting are too standard.

That last hand with AQs is a bit meh - I don't know how often he is folding having put half his stack in, and your ace is probably not live.

I like the 34s hand though - I don't do stuff like this enough.

I hate this too. The last 3 times I have shoved with two overs and a flush draw Ive run into sets each time and didnt suck out. This is even worse cuz I have one over and its probly no good anyway. Im going to fix this leak

Taking my 1st break

Seem to be having trouble with PT, its giving me an error message. Hope it didnt leave out some hands for the final results and graph. Ill see what I can do.

Finally got some cards....

total hands- 4,600
+$254

also 3,600 FPPs
and only 2,100 VPP's from Supernova status

Fun stuff -- I really enjoy reading your posts. But seriously how do you 12-table and have time to post your hands here?

Now I really think I should try this (play 10k hands in 1 session w/ live updates) some time soon

BTW I notice you got outdrawn a lot
I also notice your playing so much like mine

Good luck the rest of the way

I lost about 115 hands and about $75 worth of profit on my pokertracker stats because of a database error. So when I post my total stats at the end, they will be slightly skewed.

Anyway, Im back at it.

On the AK hand...

C/R because I know original raiser will cbet with a wide range and I thought I could trap a bet from the guy behind him.

I represented a set or at least two pair on the flop and he still called. AK is at the bottom of my c/r ing range. I believe this player checks behind with a draw on the turn. Yet it looks like he is still ready to get it AI by the river. I dont want to play for stax with one pair against him.

If he bluffed me, than nh sir. Ill keep getting it in against these donks instead.....
