Default standard spot, steal 56s, flop gutter+bd oop - what's the deal?

villain is 19-12-5 over my sample, button calls open 14%, 58% fold to flop cbet, 55% bet vs missed flop cbet, very high W$WSD = 60%. He's a reg. I'm perceived as loose, my cbet is low (55%) though.

    What's the standard here?

Bet flop, bet blank turns and heart turns. Oddly, A-K-Q-J turns aren't all that great for barreling in this spot, as a ton of villains flop calling range is AJ/AQ.

I don't like it. It certainly looks like your bet check betting a weak ace but try convincing a 50nl player of such.

edit: Meh actually I change my mind. I like the bet. It would be gross to let QJ of diamonds win this.

Bet or checkraise the flop always. Yeah gotta bet the turn...

Bet turn is probably spew when you have blockers to the only hands you fold out.

I think we should check our entire range OTT. As for river choosing exact hands to bluff with would require some further breakdown of your range but you can't really go wrong just betting when you rep a fairly wide range of value bets and have the nut low, in practice.

cbet flop of course, the flop is pretty fine to cbet and if the turn brings the A 2nd barrel, if he calls the turn , check/fold the river in a blank

cbet on flop is pretty standard play but when the A hits on the turn surely you have to bet again. Checking the turn in this situation is telling you nothing and reducing your odds by letting the villian see the river free. Nothing wrong with you river bet other than what I have already said.

You played this hand very well daven. If I was on your place, I will played the same (bet $2.25 the flop and check on the turn), only maybe I will bet $3.50 on the river(not $5), but however you played well.
