Yeah, yeah, I know playing 28s voluntarily from anywhere is fishy, let alone cold-calling a raise (tho only a min one) with it. I was just calling to outplay postflop--either catch a flop and rake in a big pot or take away the pot--but that's not why I'm posting this hand. Sometimes you just know when someone comes over the top of you on a board like this after raising preflop that they're counting on you having bluffed at it. This is why if you're going to make a big move on someone and are going to committ most of your chips, it's probably a better idea to just go all-in so the other guy doesn't have the possibility of restealing it on you. No f'in way he has a 3 here was my thinking:

When I do the CR bluff, it's almost always on the flop. It's cheaper. A decent CR should leave you head up against top pair, and if the turn doesn't pair the top card a sizable bet there takes it down pretty often.

I say pretty often even though I haven't made this play hundreds of times yet.
