This is by the poker table i have ever sat in. went up over 6 buyins before I stood up. and I need to share this with somebody.
a little history this guy doubled up on me about 9 hands ago by sucking out on the river then he wins another big pot against someone else and now this hand comes in. villian is very aggro

I guess if he is willing to call 50 on the river then he would be willing to go all in with 80?

I was scared the flush would scare him away. and I placed him on 2 pair or a set.

How would you have played it? maybe 3-bet more on the flop maybe make it $35 to go, then bet more on the turn? Thereby making it easier to go all-in on the river.

Yeah. You played the flop and turn well to set up a river push, but for whatever reason you failed to pull the trigger. Money not won = money lost.
