You can only think about laying down KK pre-flop at 400 NL or higher. At 100 NL too many clowns go all-in with too much stuff, you have to call everytime.

KK vs AA is just a nightmare situation preflop. If it makes you feel any better I'm sure your opponent laughed harder then he's ever laughed before when he quaded aces on the flop.
You played it right, the situations where it's correct to fold KK preflop are so few and far between that you just can't worry about a situation like this. You have to pay off AA here.

What situations do you find that you lay down KK? Have you successfully done it? I guess you never really know if you've been successful unless someone has already gone all in in addition to you and the another player raising.
The only situation I can imagine is getting re-raised twice, but NL100 is as high as I play.

Ouch, yeah. That's a crazy amount of pocket pairs out there.
You made the right play though.

Why did you only call the $6 bet with KK though? at 100NL that leaves a whole lot of unanswered questions about what your opponents are carrying. Everyone ended up all in anyway, but still...

I agree. With so many people left to act, you've got to reraise there. If you closed the betting, it would be less dangerous to try to trap.
