1. Not a great read on the opp... appears to have picked up plenty of small pots with well timed bets and aggression. I haven't tangled with him in any major way yet.
I am more likely to raise K8s here (that is, if I don't fold it) as I like to be the aggressor in the hand.
Flop is standard as is the call of the wussy-league minraise.
Turn is standard...
Now, do I bet the river on the board pair? Opp called a reasonable sized bet on the turn which makes me consider the possibility of a set.

UTG checks, Hero ...???
2.
SB has a weird style. Kinda loose preflop, kinda random postflop. didn't seem overly strong.
I believe I know the answer, but does anyone raise the river?

MP1 has been a bit weird. He's been calling a lot of preflop raises in position and has generally been moderately loose preflop. Postflop, he's been exploiting position with positional bets and bets when an opp shows weakness.
Do you call the river?
How is my line?

hand 1 I would check behind. i think he almost always had a set that turned into a boat. the only other possibilty is 88 or maybe sometimes 1010 but i doubt 1010, but i think he has the boat a lot of the time here so i wouldnt try a value bet here when i can just check behind.

hand 2 is tough. i know you want a free card on the turn but a raise would have probably given you the information you needed on the river here unless he all out slowplays this and it would take down the pot right there if he doesnt have a jack. but then again a free card and hitting the straight vs a jack might stack him too it just sucks that the flush draw hit too

C'mon guys.
Isn't anyone else at all concerned about potential money on the table when the river card falls?
