I pretty much only beat a fullout bluff here imo, or a really aggro QQ/JJ/TT, and with this opponent i don't think they would bet that.

Probably should've just checked behind here, both opponents were quite loose passive. Getting smooth called is something i have a hell of a time with. When you have a hand like JJ with overs or a Missed AK, what do you generally do when you get called?

Another example of me just being called, and then having no idea what to do.

No easy answers. The only suggestion I'll make is to play with a 4xBB opener and see if you like what it does for you.

In the last hand I would probably fire again on the turn to set-up a cheap showdown.

He should only bet on the turn with the intent of getting his opponent to fold. Obviously if he bets on the turn, and there is a showdown (meaning his opponent called), it doesn't matter if it's cheap or not, he's lost the hand.

I usually just give up if my bluff doesn't work on the flop with an unimproved A-K, unless perhaps I have a flush draw.

It was heads-up to a very draw heavy flop that paired on the turn. AKo is the best hand here (or catches a clean pair) often enough to want a showdown. I would bet $12, fold to a raise and plan to check behind on any river card. Unless my opponent likes to bluff. In that case, I would check behind on the turn and call any river bet up to the size of the pot.

At 2.6 to 1 I would seriously consider calling that river bet.

yeah for the AA hand this table had like a 35% vpip, so i should have definately made it 4X bb, whereas on most tables on pokerstars that i play at a 3x bb raise from utg usually gets rid of most limpers.

If 3x from UTG is taking the blinds, I'm almost never limping. 22-99 become easy open-raises.
