hand1

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.50 BB (8 handed) converter

MP1 ($101.70)
MP2 ($31.45)
CO ($80.80)
Hero ($49.25)
SB ($12.80)
BB ($48.25)
UTG ($48.85)
UTG+1 ($24.15)

Preflop: Hero is Button with [Jc], [Kh].
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.50, 1 fold, MP2 calls $0.50, CO calls $0.50, Hero calls $0.50, 1 fold, BB checks.

Flop: ($2.75) [Kd], [2h], [6d] (5 players)
BB checks, UTG+1 checks, MP2 checks, CO checks, Hero bets $2.75, BB folds, UTG+1 folds, MP2 folds, CO calls $2.75.

Turn: ($8.25) [9c] (2 players)
CO bets $4, Hero raises to $10...

I figure I am likely best here, I don't see how that offsuit 9 helps him at all. He is pretty loose, but not a complete donk as far as I could tell. If he donks me on the river again I lay it down, the plan is to check behind unimproved.

hand2

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.50 BB (10 handed) converter

CO ($88.90)
Button ($58)
SB ($11.20)
BB ($27.70)
Hero ($42.15)
UTG+1 ($22.15)
UTG+2 ($50.65)
MP1 ($22.70)
MP2 ($38.35)
MP3 ($48.70)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with [Kh], [Ks].
Hero raises to $1.75, 1 fold, UTG+2 calls $1.75, 7 folds.

Flop: ($4.25) [8d], [Kd], [8h] (2 players)
Hero bets $4, UTG+2 raises to $8, Hero calls $4.

Turn: ($20.25) [Qd] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG+2 bets $10, Hero raises to $25, UTG+2 folds.

Final Pot: $55.25

Results in white below:
No showdown. Hero wins $55.25.

I probably check-raised a little too much there, but I figured $15 more into a now $55 pot would be callable with 8x, xAd etc. What would be a better line here, donk the turn? Check-call, then donk the river?

hand3
Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.50 BB (10 handed) converter

Final Pot: $6.25

Results in white below:
Hero doesn't show.
UTG doesn't show.
Outcome: Hero wins $4.50. UTG wins $1.75.

This happened to me 4 times tonight (all with KK or AA). 3-5 limpers before me, I throw in a pot-sized bet and not one call. Anyone raise less in situations like this? I was tempted to the last time, but I really don't want to raise too small and then get everyone calling.

hand4

I try to pull a Ripptyde read...

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.50 BB (10 handed) converter

CO ($89.30)
Button ($52.70)
SB ($55)
BB ($37.20)
Hero ($83.80)
UTG+1 ($54.45)
UTG+2 ($48.25)
MP1 ($44.95)
MP2 ($30.60)
MP3 ($54.90)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with [2h], [2s].
3 folds, MP2 raises to $2.25, 4 folds, BB calls $1.75, Hero calls $2.25.

Flop: ($7) [3d], [7s], [5c] (3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, MP2 bets $3, BB folds, Hero calls $3.

Turn: ($13) [Th] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets $4, Hero raises to $11("AK no goot!"), MP2 calls $7. ("I don't have AK, unless I am a total donk")

River: ($35) [Kd] (2 players)
Hero checks ("I give up"), MP2 checks.

Final Pot: $35

Results in white below:
Hero has 2h 2s (one pair, twos).
MP2 has Jh Jd (one pair, jacks).
Outcome: MP2 wins $35.

His flop bet and small turn bet reeked of a missed AK/AQ so I figured I'd try to steal it. Is that a good enough sized check-raise or should I hammer down on him harder?
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

1) looks fine to me. If you see much more action let it go.

2) Looks fine. Maybe minraise the turn but who knows. What made you not check the flop?

3) I make it $3 here. Depends on table though.

4) Do your raising on the flop where its cheaper.

hand 1: I like it, unless of course he comes back with a reraise

hand 2: checking the flop at this level will surely indicate a monster and will not likely get paid off. Play it fast and no one will give you credit for it.

hand 3: fine given limpers

hand 4: worth a shot sometimes, but good idea giving it up (AK goot now)

I cbet nearly every time after leading preflop, especially heads up. If I check I surely won't get paid off by any semi-observant opponent (as outphase noted).

I'll have to try that next time.

I kinda worded that wrong, do you usually pot it after leading or had you some reason to think you would get action off this guy even if you lead the flop really strong. I don't think I lead the flop so strong, I half pot this most of the time. I want to give the opp at least some chance of catching up a bit if he hasn't got much.

Typically I change it up, somewhere between half and full pot. Plus, I had gotten away with about 5 of my last 6 cbets without any resistance, so I was really just hoping for him to take a stand and play back with Kx or a middle pair.
