Why 5bb? You have a great hand and position, build a pot and play some post-flop poker with this guy.

I'd say he's got a big hand here quite often. Fail that, you're often flipping.

My line is raise to 3x and fold to a push (without a read.) I basically run that line whenever I'm limped into with 2 cards that don't suck. More often than not, they're comming in with crap and I want to compound their mistake, rather than inspire them to get it right the second time around.

Short-handed you have to make this call because blind confrontations are both more common and aggressive.

thanks.

I like your line.

I don't often get into a situation where i have a good hand and it's limped to me in the BB.

in this hand villain had KK and i sucked out

My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

wow I was gona say you had him beat, thinking you were trying to push him off of his limp he pushed puttign you on a steal. I was really off.

Would a weak player limp in KK from the SB because he is afraid of raising and having the BB fold PF? Is that what he was doing?

You don't play much then. Certainly AK is a reasonable holding for our opponent. If he's donkish (no read yet) Ax fits.
