9 handed table, effective stacks are $50. BB is a 35/5/3 player.

I raise UTG w/AQ, folds to BB who calls.

flop is J33 w/2 spades.
check, I bet $3, he calls

turn is an offsuit 4
check, should I double barrel here? It seems like he has a small pair or a Jack the majority of the time and a draw the rest. I only ask cuz Renton said that in a RR pot if you bet this flop you should always be prepared to double barrel. Is this true in raised pots as well?

4 was just too low to make the second barrel against a loose player. Actually, i'd be inclined to fire again if turn card came out like 8, 9 or K something. As played, just check down dude.

2nd Level: "What does he think i have?"

If your opponent is thinking on the second level, then you will be able to profitably double barrel a turn card that does not change the texture of the board.

Is the pot worth winning? What will your double barelling achieve? Is there enough in there to risk more to get it? Will opponent fold if he whiffs?
