It's either variance or you're not winning enough of the right kinds of pots.

Based on these 2 hands, I'd say yes. Quit forever.
/kidding. Just variance, it will go away eventually, then come back, then go away for a while, then come back for a few months, then go away...

I need to post more hands, and be slightly less dramatic. Thank you for your replies.

The first one you had the best hand when the money went in so I dont see the problem.
Fold the flop in the second hand!

Arkana,
If i would always fold the flop when i hit my weak ace, then there is not reason for me to play. When one plays short tables, starting hands become a very loose defination.

You should be playing more hands at a short table, but weak unsuited aces are the wrong hands to be adding to the list of starting hands that you play. They don't have much value, because if you pair your ace, you'll probably only get action if you're beat.
If you want to play more hands, add hands like suited connectors. These hands give you a lot more potential to take someone's entire stack if you hit the flop hard.

Good point McatDog. Though if your careful you can get middle pairs to pay you off. But judging by my results doesn't seem like i get those hands to pay me off.

you'd be surprised how profitable you can be playing shorthanded at low limits while playing nearly as tight as full ring.
granted i'm referring more to 4-6 player range
