First off, I didn't mean to call the all in preflop with KK, I was clicking the call button so I could call the SB's raise and then the all in guy (immediately to my right) went all in....

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (4 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

BB ($5.65)
Hero ($15.75)
Button ($6.80)
SB ($10.60)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K, K.
Hero raises to $0.3, 1 fold, SB raises to $0.9, BB raises to $5.65, Hero calls $5.35, SB calls $4.75.

Flop: ($16.95) 7, A, Q (3 players)
SB bets $4.95 (All-In), Hero folds.

Turn: ($21.90) 2 (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: ($21.90) 2 (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: $21.90

Results in white below:
BB has 6d 6s (two pair, sixes and twos).
SB has Kc Kd (two pair, kings and twos).
Outcome: SB wins $21.90.

I know I would have made a minimal amount (maybe even lost to the rake) but should I have laid this down in other circumstances such as this?

Race with KK all day.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

Even with the overcard on the board? I suppose it would depend on what kind of read you have on the SB player, but the A on the flop makes the fold more appealing to me.

I would fold the flop because I find $10 NL guys think Ax is the nuts and I reckon your beat here, at least one of them has an A a good percentage of the time.

AI preflop wouldn't be that bad of a move.

As soon as BB raised to >5$ which is like 50x BB, you should have pushed. You will get a call 100% of the time when you push here, and you are ahead of every hand besides AA. If he has AA, and you are just calling his raise anyway, you might as well push it pre flop.

Notice the SB pushed the flop with his KK. Just because someone bets the flop doesn’t mean they have the A. It’s a very tough flop decision. I have pushed there before…some I lost, some I won. Hehe.
Stakes: Playing $0.10/$0.25 NL
