i knew i was beat when he turned over his cards preflop.

If pokerroom weren't the only thing i could play on, i would cash out and never go back. It's getting to the point where these beats are so ridiculous and common that i really can't stand to play anymore.

it was obviously a sarcastic remark regarding the absurdity of pokerroom. no need to patronize me. i love poker, and i understand a great deal about the game. i've been pretty successful with my MTT play in the last month (4 second place finishes and a 3rd in pokerroom's 5 dollar MTTs ~500 people) playing a few a week. i didn't learn the game a few weeks ago, so you don't need to talk to me like i'm an idiot. i've done countless hours playing and reading for the last 2 years to understand the game, although i've only started playing online a few months ago. i'm not a beginner complaining because i took a few bad beats (i.e.. OMG WTF MY ACES LOST). i understand my odds and i understand that this should not be happening every single time. i don't even consider this a bad beat because honestly it's nothing out of the ordinary on pokerroom. the underdog wins almost every single time.

Man, and I thought I was a whiner.

No, seriously. If you played it right and lost, what's your beef? Are you saying pokerroom is cheating?

You got bad beat. Move on with your life, it happens. Blah blah, it's what makes poker profitable, blah blah, these keep suckers in the game, blah blah. Seriously, the bad beat is your friend when it's within your bankroll. Because it's all +EV baby.

i wasn't patronizing you because i think you can't play poker, I was patronizing you because you think that pokerroom is the cause of your bad beats.

i'm not trying to be an a-hole or anything, but the argument or belief that a certain online place isn't fair comes up regularly and its a tired argument, with them being fair as the decided winner. Believe it or not, there is more evidence than your personal experience. Get pokertracker, see what % of times your aa/kk/qq wins. I bet you will be amazed that it is 75-90+%, yes, even at pokerroom.
