if they always call, it is not a long run smart move. Against deeper stacks, I like a raise to hide the draw but not an all in... with those stacks, no chance of a fold, and multiple opps I think calling based on pot odds is a better line.

Yeah, I 2nd that completely. If someone throws out a weak, unsure raise, I'll usually double it. Ex: pre-flop raiser bets .25 on the flop, I'll raise it to 1 dollar, to get them of my heels and let me see 2 free cards. The only issue is, what if someone flopped a set? Even if you pull the flush, they still have alot of outs to take it back.

The guy looked like he had an overpair, the pot was big, and I wanted it. Against tougher opponents maybe?
Since he had queens my outs were reduced somewhat - but say he was sittin on anything else? Any nine, queen, or spade makes me the winning hand. I guess its a bad gamble because nobody ever folds anything.

You made the correct play here, even if he does have QQ. It really has to do with what cards HE has, and how big the pot is. I love playing this AI, as it's about an even money move, plus it improves your table image greatly.
