I've lost alot on my c-bets these past few days, and I've been thinking that it's because I need to pick my spots better. I remember once reading that always c-betting was better than newer, so I went with this strategy to start of with. If we take this hand fx. should i C-bet?
Seat 1: yinwp ($25.70 in chips)
Seat 2: Peppe_82 ($23.50 in chips)
Seat 3: yoyos75 ($18.35 in chips)
Seat 4: mwmitacr ($24 in chips)
Seat 5: valkokangas. ($24.50 in chips)
Seat 6: solybi ($25 in chips)
Seat 7: _scorpio_ ($66.65 in chips)
Seat 8: Kauf38 ($81.05 in chips)
Seat 9: komatos1 ($10.85 in chips)
Seat 10: GibbeHamp ($24 in chips)
ANTES/BLINDS
Kauf38 posts blind ($0.25), komatos1 posts blind ($0.25), solybi posts blind ($0.25).
PRE-FLOP
GibbeHamp folds, yinwp calls $0.25, Peppe_82 folds, yoyos75 calls $0.25, mwmitacr folds, valkokangas. folds, solybi checks, _scorpio_ folds, Kauf38 bets $1, komatos1 calls $1, yinwp calls $1, yoyos75 calls $1, solybi folds.
FLOP [board cards 3D,4C,8S ]
Btw, it's pot-limit, joined the games by a mistake today, but heck I'm up 4 buy-ins for the first time ever, so I won't complain .

raise more $.. 4bb + 1bb/limper thins the field and makes cbets more effective.
if you have a good drawing hand where you want to see a flop with a juicy pot then raise just to 4bb or 3bb after a bunch of limpers, they wont fold. and you get to see a flop with a big pot (ex JTs, QJs)

It's nice to hear from you Toma, I've read your blog even though I newer posted in it, and enjoyed it alot.
Back to topic. I'm guessing you mean big blinds?
I don't really get when to add to your raise, should you add 1bb for each of the ones who have allready called the, or should you raise for the ones who sit behind you? I think it's those who already called but I need to be sure.

thanks for the kind words.
in this case there are 2 limpers in front of you, so bet $1.50. 1$ + 1big blind per limper.

Your HH omits critical information... namely where you are sitting on the table!
It is worthwhile picking your spots to Cbet; note that your table image also matters a great deal. If you've been raising and cbetting (and taking down pots) frequently and/or your cbets are getting challenged, it might be time to slow down.
Cbetting can be very effective against one or two very loose players that will limp-call with just about any two.
