Yes you should fold here and drain that maniac at a later date.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

I agree you should fold.
I disagree that his play was "maniacal"

He put in $15 to win $19. He only needs to get a fold here less than half the time for it to be a profitable play.
Assuming your preflop range is AQ+, and AA-TT, his raise is good, especially since it makes you fold hands that are better a large % of the time.
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.
