$25NL, .25/.50 blinds - 6max

on the button i raise

BB calls

Flop: :Td: :Jc:

BB bets 2/3rds the pot.. call or raise?

Next street in white below:

i call and he checks the turn, which is blank.. what now?

Final outcome below in white:
I make a quick click AI, figuring it will look like a bad bluff. I dont think he has anything more than me since the bet/check on the flop and turn. so i want to pick up a really bad call. If he has KQ i figure i'm paying him off.

You get to laugh at the next bit... he called my AI with A high.

OWNED.
villain goes AI
i call with a set (i have him owned)
i win pot
villain: **** this, this site is bullshit, ******* rigged, suck out ****

Where do you play 25nl with .25/.50 blinds?

Isn't that like the old party poker which everyone talks so highly of?

It was the players, not the structure.

Whats the reasoning? i doubt i would often get paid when doing that.. or am i looking to not get sucked out on? this guy had a gutshot to beat me with AK (not that a gutshot sets my big bad suckout metre racing before the cards even come out). I dont think he wouldve called AI at the flop, so when he folds i just say "damn he didnt hit TPTK betting luck for me next time" ??

pokerchamps.com - stakes from .02/.04 to .25/.50 play with 50BB stacks, at .50/1 and above the stacks increase to 100BB.. but its not uncommon for me to see a full 6max table at .50/1 where every player has less than $50.

Its still a fairly small site though, so you dont get a big choice of tables above .25/.50. Site design is second to none though and the rakeback system kicks ass. be good to see this place grow.. general fishiness isnt too bad at all.. i dont find it challenging to win, when you get guys that will do what the guy in the posted hand did.. well.. enough said.

I used to push that flop on a draw and got called a lot. Now I push that flop with lots of hands that really like getting called and still get called a lot.

The lecture about the proper way to play the nuts after his stack is pushed my way is always good for a chuckle too.

ok cool... so say he didnt bet on the flop.. what then? standard pot size bet? ...cant really check, thats giving draws the free card, and pair plus OESD seems like a pretty possible hand on this kind of board, plus pair plus draw is the type of hand that will probably call me anyway right?

Bet the flop hard. Hes more likely to think you have the draw than the made straight and he will try and push you out with his TPTK/2 pair/ set etc.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

bigspenda73: But how much did you win?
