Bodog $50 NL
UTG 170BB
SB 200 BB
Hero (CO) 160BB
UTG limps, folds to me with 77. I raise it to 4x bb. SB calls, UTG calls.
Flop AK5 (suits don't matter). checks to me. I c-bet for 3/4 pot (I had a tight table image so far). Both call. i put one of them on a set of 5s, the other on a strong A, maybe 2 pair
Turn comes 7, I hit my set. SB checks, UTG bets 1/4 pot into me. Hero....? (think about this, continues below)
.
.
.
.
.
Hero calls. SB calls.
The thought of a set really feels right, and I'm feeling great because I sucked out and hit a higher one! Something irks me about their being two other players in this pot. Why didn't one of them fold? Does one of them have a set of AA or KK? No way a JJ/QQ sticks around here... I hadn't been at the table long, but these players were definately solid, so they weren't calling with nothing. AK definately might definately stick around.
River (at this point, ~100BB in size): Blank
Sb checks. UTG pushes. Hero thinks for a while... calls. SB calls.
Thoughts? This ended up being around a 500BB pot, so I wanted to see if I played this well.

if they are both solid then why worry about AA/KK? solid players 3 bet those PF. if i put one on a set of 5's then i am raising the turn and am glad to get all the money in.

It does feel awkward. You did the right thing imho but with a push, your call and then the third guy calling too, I'm guessing one of em did have AA/KK? Best case scenario would indeed be 55 and AK, or a third set on the river blank.
I think solid players will often reraise with AA/KK, but sometimes not.. a sort-of slowplay, they give you some "odds to suck out" for masking their real hand strength. If one of em DID have AA/KK here, then it worked lol. I'm hoping for you it was AK/55/other set though. Or that maybe a guy donked it afterall with Ax/QQ/JJ etc.

If I don't push the turn I push the river. I at least raise the turn, people hate min raises of their bets

Raise pot on the turn. You want a lot of money going in so you can push the river, or make a big value bet. I have no problem stacking off here if I'm beat. Did the 7 on the turn bring a flush draw?

Sorry for the delay, but why? The board is really non-scary. Only real straight draw is a gutshot for the broadway or some 86/64 that stuck, both of which who have no real reason to stick around after the flop bet. No flush draws.
Don't I want to keep SB in this pot as long as possible and extract chips from him if I think my hand is best? If I call and SB calls, I have a little over pot-sized left behind in chips.. which I think is good enough for a push if checked to me, and certainly enough for a push raise if bet into me again. Maybe I'm wrong on this though.
