Villian is 16/12... a little over 200 hands. My reasons for calling/slow-playing are:

1) Villian is aggressive on turn and river, but plays a passive flop. He will lay a hand down a marginal hand to aggression.
2) I have position.
3) I can extract from his Qx and missed draws.

My bigger problem is understanding his river bet size. Does he have the goods with this borderline absurd river bet?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (9 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

BB ($16.05)
UTG ($29.40)
UTG+1 ($25.25)
Hero (MP1) ($30.20)
MP2 ($22.90)
MP3 ($7)
CO ($6.65)
Button ($30.25)
SB ($34.70)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 8, 8
UTG calls $0.25, 1 fold, Hero bets $1.25, 6 folds, UTG calls $1

Flop: ($2.85) Q, J, 3 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($2.85) 8 (2 players)
UTG bets $1.75, Hero calls $1.75....SHOULD HAVE RAISED!

River: ($6.35) 9 (2 players)
UTG bets $6.25, Hero???

200 hands is not enough to know his postflop tendencies well.

What badgers said.

hmmm again was drunk sorry. I think river is possibly a fold.. Alothugh I guess because you checked the flop he can just about have air so maybe that makes it more of a call, but it's definitely close to a fold.

Don't reveal results so early! Obviously raise turn and potsized bets on the river are usually the nuts from fish unless you have a good soul read

Start playing your good hands fast. Poker is easier to play and more profitable. Eventually you'll see where you can slowplay... this board is obv not one of them
