I donked this one up pretty bad. Particularly embarassing is that turn bet.

Villian is 37/12. Here's what I think I should've done: Check behind on the turn. If the river is a fourth club, I'm folding to a river bet. If it's a non-club blank, I'll call a reasonable river bet. If the board pairs, I'm getting all my chips in. What do you think of my proposed line?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

UTG+2 ($51.85)
MP1 ($37.45)
Hero ($47.59)
MP3 ($48.45)
CO ($65.30)
Button ($47.95)
SB ($40.36)
BB ($49.65)
UTG ($27.28)
UTG+1 ($55)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with 5, 5. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
4 folds, Hero raises to $2, 4 folds, BB calls $1.50.

Flop: ($4.25) 6, 5, 8 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $3, BB calls $3.

Turn: ($10.25) 7 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $5, BB raises to $20, Hero calls $15.

River: ($50.25) J (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: $50.25

I like checking behind the doubly-scary turn. Depending on his river bet and post-flop numbers, I might bluff raise, but most likely I'll fold.
