Nice hand, but you let her off way too lightly.

You have to go all in on the river, looks like you made the flush, she will call

id be celebrating if I was kitty_b right now.. 'I only lost 55 cents when I hit the top boat and the guy had quads on a single paired board!'

Next time play your quads far more aggressively..
BR now: $106900
Playing now: $10/10/20 - $20/40 NL live, $10/20 NL full ring online, $10/20 NL 6-max online, $20/40 FL 6-max online, $100/200 FL live

I realize now that my play kind of sucked. But I didn't want to scare him away without him calling a bet. In fact I was trying to induce a push out of him. I don't know though..

id be dancing in the streets naked... amazing flat call instead of re-raising on the river. if i'm holding a boat & the third color lands @ the river, dollar signs are flashing in front of my eyes & sirens are going off in my ears.
i bet 2 dolla on my flush draw

opp didnt lose stack
thats the key reason you didnt play this hand hard enough.
Just about every player i know would go bust with opps hand against yours here.

Lol.. check/call, check/call, bet 1/6 the pot with quads?

If you don't ever plan on ever making an agressive play with your monsters until the river (a mistake), at least put villain AI on the river. Villain pots it in a multiway pot on the flop, then pots it again on the turn (he likes his hand). With these stacks, there shouldn't even be a round of betting on the river...

nh though.

i think you get called at most limits if you just open pushed the flop
(if you know what cards he has)

If I'm holding 44 on a 433 board I'm thrilled to put all my money in, regardless of what stakes I'm playing or the size of the bet.

More importantly, we don't know his cards. Best to play against everyone's perceived range here...

re-raise the turn to find out how much they like their hand, when they 3bet you know they like their hand and probly wanna get jiggy, where you can maximise your profit on the river with a huge bet.

edit c/ring turn may show too much strength, but at least re-raise or lead out somewhere the other day i had quads and when i put my opp on a set i overbet the river ai knowing chances are he'll call
Experimenting - 200NL 5max.
