Hey guys, please have a look at this hand and tell me if you would have done anything differently yourself. With river Jh, was I only going to get called with a straight or flush, or would two pair also call?
My image at this point is very loose aggressive (pre and post flop). I had raised 2 of the previous 3 hands (also to $2) and had earlier lost half a buyin to the CO overplaying AQ vs AK. Four hands before this one, I had made a missed flop c-bet into the villian, and then check-folded the turn.
With villians call on the river (hes getting 3-1), what do you put him on?
THANKS

I hate the min. c/r on the turn. As played you're probably good. A draw will probably check the turn for a free card (at least that's what I'll do). I think you have him beat, maybe AK, KJ or a smaller set.

bet the flop
after a PFR, checking into a K-high flop is not going to get you extra action. Besides you need to inflate the pot so you can get it in fast.

Bet flop, if you're gonna check-raise the turn, do it hard.

bet the flop pot the turn push any river, no matter what falls, as opp has put way too much in to be profitable by then anyway.

i donked this hand pretty badly didnt i. Villian turned over 4h6h. I didnt put him on a draw either as he bet out on the turn.
In your experiences, have you found many people to bet out strongly on the turn when they could have taken a free card instead? Obviously this is dependant on how weak they think their opponent is and if they can get them to fold, but I usually take the free card as a check-bet-call on the flop usually means the opponent has something.
thanks for the advice everyone
