Sorry if this is super standard. Opp is 20/2/1.7 over 60 hands. How is this line with a set? Check behind on the turn and hope he bets the river or bet after he checks?

Yes. When he calls the flop he has to like something about his hand. Betting the turn here is standard.

you did right, imo. you are protecting against/charging premium prices to chase the flush. this isnt a board you can get "cute" with when you have bottom set.
LHE is a game where your skill keeps you breakeven until you hit your rush of random BS.

Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!

Small point, but I only bet $7 or $8 on the turn. Your big flop raise was great and it inflated the pot for you, so it will be very easy to get it all-in no matter what. With that in mind, you can encourage him to call with a flush draw/TP/2P while still denying proper odds to the flush draw. A $7 bet and call on the turn makes the pot $26.50 and leaves you with $13 behind. With a read that your opp likes to chase, or plays loosely post-flop, I like the $10 turn bet better.
