hey guys, this is from memory as HH arent available on this site. ill do my best to make it presentable.

Hero $50 UTG
Opp $90 BB
Game 50 NL
others irrelevant.

Hero dealt :

Hero limps UTG, LP limper in CO, both blinds limp/check.

Flop comes: all different suits. POT $2

SB checks, BB (villian bets pot) bets $2, Hero Raises to $6, CO limper folds, SB folds, BB ReRaises to $10 (yeah only raises me $4), Hero ?????????????

Ok reads, Villian is a good/decent player. THis site is very small regards player base and he seems to be the one of only a few players cleaning up. Preflop i think he is quite a solid player. Postflop he doesnt always c/b and i feel ive been floated a few times by him before. Regards this hand im unsure about it, he doesnt seems to be someone who will do this with air.

QT, T8 or 2 pr are def a possibility. I call and see what the turn brings and put the pressure to him.

all ranges are have a good chance for sure, aswell as the chance he plays all the same way.

How are you gonna put pressure on him?? by calling arent we on the back foot, we are not forcing him into any decisions

You're in position, so I call and re-evaluate. If he's a solid player he probably has 2-pair or a straight. I'm going to have trouble folding here unless he bets turn AND river hard, but hopefully he'll keep giving you odds to draw to your boat.

Miffed22001 is on a distinguished road
call, it would be difficultnot to fold but T8/J9 are so likely here.

zook, you advocating calling him down here i think, i just dont like this board if he is in fact drawing (not likely tho i think)

2 pairs and str8 can all use opp's line, tho the smaller RR is questionable the difference as to which he may be holding.

Folding is poor is it?? Shoving?? doesnt really get worse hands to fold?? calling i guess is ok-ish since all we dont want is a T or Q.

Yeah, call down reasonable bets. Probably fold if a Q or T hits the turn or if villain makes big turn bet and then a big river bet. I don't like a flop fold b/c pot odds are pretty good and implied are probably there if you hit your boat. A turn fold could be ok, a little weak/tight, but not terrible. Shoving is pretty bad I think. fwiw, I raise this up pre-flop.

I hate the open limp w/99 (maybe your memory is fuzzy? ). The unraised pot causes lots of problems.

your gonna love it then if i tell i limp all PP under JJ and raise JJ+ (regarding EP). i thought this was fine for full ring, no? Rentons guide did cut out some of the small PP's but i still play them.

ok i miss played the hand then. i shoved, i did put some thought to it and took a sec. i figured id be getting it allin anyway and didnt want to scare of 2 pair and kill the action. i guess this is a spot where you wanna kill the action.

I don't mind the open limp (on loose tables where a 3x raise gets re-raised or called by 6 poeple). I like calling down here best, especially if villian is not a total passive and will think TP+ or 2p is worth betting. The last thing you want to do is fold straight draws but not straights or oversets.
