Where would you guys play if you could start again? I am thinking about the switch and have plenty of options, including different pay processors and the ability to whore first deposit bonuses again. Is there a site with good bonus, rakeback and FR traffic late at night (EST) that has software suitable for multitables and PT/hud? Party has no rakeback and Tilt is out. Stars is beatable but the FPP's will take a while since I'm relegated to Silverstar again.

You should be able to get rakeback at a Crypto or Prima skin. I've heard the games aren't that great though. Crypo was def no better than stars when I used to play 50-100 FR over there.

Everest has really good games, but no RB. Software is a little slow so try it out before deposting. The deposit bonuses are ok though, you can get $200 bonus plus 5 books signing up for them at 2p2.

Ongame network has lots of skins with signup and reload bonuses and the games are good. Software is really nasty and buggy though.

They're the only ones I have experience with. All the sites I mentioned work with either PAHUD, or GT+, but if yr used to the slick Stars software you may find it a less pleasant gaming experience lol. Stars is so nice I can hardly stand to play at these tinpot sites anymore.

if i started again with a good computer, it'd be ongame because its so much softer than anywhere else. Party would be close but there are lots of ninja's in the fr games which would degrade from winrate IMO.
I started at prima, but fr there is still available but it died so quickly after the 'day of the frist'

I've been grinding stars for the past 1.5 years and I'm looking to get started on Full Tilt .50/1 soon. Do you guys have any suggestion for best way to deposit/get rakeback (I'm new to this)? Is it possible for me to deposit 2k-3k easily?

Sign up for FTP through a rakeback affiliate. I use www.raketracker.com and have been very pleased. Rakeback gets deposited directly into my FTP account like clockwork every month.

Well, apparently I can't refer someone for FTP if I sign up for rakeback. But I did refer someone for the rakeback program :}

Don't start at PokerStars this late in the year -- your progress towards Supernova will be wasted until the end of the year.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

with as many hands as TJ plays, he could go back to stars and get a $650 bonus by the end of the year while getting to platinumstar again to start next year.

This is true but it's only worth ~20-22% rakeback if you played at the Platinum Star level the whole time, which he wouldn't be, so it would really be for less. The VPP counter for Supernova restarts at the end of the year, and the Supernova level is where you get into your 32-34% rakeback range for what the bonus is worth, so I've have to recommend to start somewhere else, at least until the end of the year.

I need to learn about this, you mean, starting Jan 1, 2008 everyone is back to square 1? What if I played 80k hands the next 2 months, would that have any impact on my "Star" status for 2008?

For Platinum and below yes, for Supernova and up no.

Platinum and below are based on what you did in the previous month in terms of VPPs. Supernova and Supernova Elite are based off what you've done that calendar year in terms of VPPs. Go to Pokerstars's site about it for more detailed info.

I'd probably look into 5tabling Pacific and 3tabling Bodog. I believe hud works for those, and they're probably the juiciest games on the internet. At least I'm sure Pacific is now.

Or just find out what site Cocc0 Bill plays on. I'm guessing he's on the site with the highest EV available.
