Any reads at all?? I probably check/ fold here and pray he checks behind.... maybe call something like a $5 bet. I don't think you can bet here because any hand you beat (AT, KQ, etc) is not calling with the straight and flush out there.

I also think if you value bet the river you are going to get raised, because he's either a fish chasing the flush and got there, or if he has half a brain would figure you don't have the flush the way the hand played out and raise, knowing you can't really call a raise. And like i said before, if you make a real bet say 1/2 pot or whatever, you're only getting called by a hand that beats you.

It's my first orbit, no history with anybody. Looking back, I think a made straight raises me on the turn (maybe), but I was worried about a smoothcaller with AK as well. Don't think a set's an issue here given the action.

I agree a set or staight "should" raise the turn, but more often than not people don't do what I expect them to do with certain hands.... Also, Khxh or any 2 hearts really could just call you down. Like I said, without a read it's probably a check/ fold for me unless it's some retarded small bet on the river and I want to see a showdown.

Interesting...... If I'm villain in that hand, I probably bet $13 or so on that river after you check no matter what 2 cards I have.

I wonder what in the world villian is calling you with on the turn that doesn't beat you. KQ, A10? Esspecially since a hit on the river...
