Villain is yaomingming who is one of the nittier regulars but capable of moves. I'm 13/10 and bluff this flop a lot

such a sick, sick spot as hes basically only repping qq, but I fold regardless. You've given off a ton of strength all hand, and of his 3 most likely hands on the flop (qq-aa), only 1 of those hands does he continue past the turn (qq) as you have the a and k of diamonds. Id also say 55, and 44 are in his range too, id expect 66 to 4 bet get it in on the flop. He never does this as a bluff, hes a nit, and its fullring = sick but a fairly easy fold.

its completely retarded of him to do that with a boat so i'd probably spite call so i can berate him after i lose.

its an incredibly tough spot

i'd fold

also, why would your range on flop vs him include "often" bluffs

also why did you raise the flop vs this nit

sincerely,

renton

it's tough at the time, but knowing if he opens 22-55 utg is obviously a huge factor here. I'm be sprinting into my db to see.

I guess I prefer raising the flop and buying a free card (he never shoves flop w/o a set) than facing a 3/4+ bet on a turn blank

Ok, I've had some time to think about this and then post. I'm wondering if there is a better bet size on this turn if Yaoming is as nitty as you say. If we do pay this off on the river when it hits then we're letting the set call correctly with good odds.

Also, I wonder if he calls anything on this turn other than a set given that we hold the Ad and Kd. I might be over thinking this but I doubt he perceives your range to be that wide in this spot once you bet the turn. If he does only call us on the flop with a set no matter how much we bet then we should make our bet pot-sized as I don't see him folding it.

About the river shove: I've seen this in several standard spots where he has the boat but I can never fold it usually. I think we should fold though in this spot.

Hmm good point about us having the Ad and Kd... weights his range a lot more towards boats. I'm sure I'd call and call it a huge cooler but it's probably a fold. Real close.
