Insta-call. You're getting 3-1, I don't see how you can fold this unless this guy is a super-rock. If I raise this river like you did, it's done with the full intent of calling a push. You just aren't deep enough to be thinking about laying this down. 200BB stacks and this becomes a tougher situation...

I would probably instacall if I were playing the hand but I really think he has quads...

even if he turns that over, and it seems likely unless hes playing for stacks with the straight/two pair which is awful id be happy to go bust to a better hand considering my holding.

Thanks for the replies. I was running bad yesterday and this hand was just enough to piss me really off (didn't tilt though).

The problem in this hand is that I can't put him on a reasonable hand that I beat. But the hands that beat me seem very unlikely too, so I guess I have to pay him off anyway.

Villain showed KK btw. Add note: very passive

if the river J wasnt a club it would be a tougher call. But the way it was played i think you gotta pay him off on river.

Oh yea... the first hand. Instacall.

As for Johnnys hand, has anyone ever lied to any of you about what they held? From what im starting to think its -EV to call when you cant beat the hand they say they have. Havnt seen anyone lie about it yet.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.
