I already know how and why my flop play sucked. I hate getting pushed off of overcards by small pairs, and my raise was freakin weak.

Anyway, assuming he didn't have a heart, would you expect a call there from a hand like that? Should I have potted it?

I should have stuck to my plan and quit playing AJ. I can raise/rep with other non-tricky hands. (Not that it was tricky this time. It wasn't, it was a fold on the flop). I guess I should stop worrying about it and B/L the guy already.

He's a calling station. You shouldn't be bluffing him. If you didn't have that read yet, than you shouldn't be mixing it up precariously against an unknown opponent. This is a guy you value bet to death when you have him beat. Classic ATM.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.
