This is a risky cbet, but I kinda like it at the moment. The problem is that he likes to float with middle Ax, TT, JJ, 88, rarely QQ, so I know i'll be firing another barrel on the turn. Would checking behind be better because there are two villains?
Villain is 12/8.

cool, just checking because I've been stuck in some tricky river situations lately after 2 barreling.

Its actually imo a standard cbet in that spot. Checking here is to fold the hand unless everyone checks an we gutter the nuts on the turn... also if BB calls i'm checking behind on turn, as he's almost always calling turn if he calls flop on that board
UTG has pairs 95% and AA/KK slowplay 4% random hand 1%
easy to play against. we're just thinking about bb here
with a gutter and 2 overs, cbet is fine here as we can ignore UTG and treat it more like a HU pot vs. BB... plus the fact that BB is gonna treat our bet as being stronger usually because its multiway, not realizing we basically can discount the EP limper
also are you sure you know what you are saying about a float? A float is when someone calls without presumbably the best hand to take it away on a later st., a lot of the hands (e.g. Ax) would not be floating here. also most people at your stake aren't floating to float... if they call with just say overs they are usually a fish looking to spike (these guys have obvious stats like high-medium pf vpip, lowishfold to flop bet and high fold to 2x)

Oh, sorry, I misused "float" . I meant that he calls flops loosely hoping to spike.
