hmm, tough one. i think you did ok. i can only speak from the experience of .5/.10 and above, but the only criticism i'd give is that after the flop you might want to back off. to me, you reraising to .50 says i've got high pockets, and his call says i know. most of the time, i think a .5 reraise gets them to fold here, but if you do get called it reeks of a set/two pair. your best case call there is tptk, and with the preflop betting its somewhat unlikely he had a8.

another thing, maybe consider reraising less. a reraise to .30 might get you the same info as one to .50 and save you .20 cents. you could've bet less on the turn then too. a little thing but i'm starting to see that raising more than the minimum necessary to get the information you want (when you're not sure you have the best hand) loses quite a bit of money in the long run.

Yea, but even if UTG has A8 on the flop he would have called the .50 raise. At think you played it well considering the micro limit level.

A massive river bet may have folded him, but then again if he called you're probably screwed. Considering that, I think your river check is appropriate since the pot is already decent sized.
