Post subject: Reraise less on the turn?

This guy liked his hand (a flush, I'm guessing) enough to check-raise, but then wouldn't call my reraise? Should I have raised less maybe?

i would flat call his raise on the turn, then let him bet out on the river and raise him , then hes commited more, plus you guarentee to get another 15-20 on the river cause he is betting before you, you have position on him. especially if he is bluffing, you give him another chance to bluff at the pot

If you didn't have position on him I would bet/reraise, but since you have position, you can smooth call the turn bet. no matter the river card, you're likely you have him beat therefore you can raise/bet all you want

I don't really understand just calling here. He's showing strength when I have the near-nuts. He only raised the minimum, why not try to get as much money in the pot as possible? Calling then raising on the river seems pretty inefficient.

I think at the moment when he check-raises after check-calling on the flop, a flush is most likely, but since he folded to a reraise, maybe it was just a horribly played 3.
