I'm in the BB with KQo and a 16/13 with a 35% attempt to steal opens for 4x from the CO and we have no prior history. Should I be 3-betting here or just calling?

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

Both. Maybe like 80/20 3bet/call, but a lot depends on what you've been doing. If you've 3bet the last 4 times he's opened then 3betting without a felting hand may actually be neg EV.

When 3betting lead most flops, when calling crai most flops. I almost never play against a raise from the blinds without planning to take it away, and I believe that to be an integral part of winrate.

Edit: ^^^^^When against an LP raise, that is.

Okay this is pretty much exactly what I think of it as well but it's something I've never talked about with anyone so I guess I needed some reassurance or something. Thanks.

Like 85 in both, but the plan was to work on my blinds immediately after I got comfortable at 200nl, and it's about that time.

It's an area I've struggling. I'm usually around 90%, but am trying to get closer to 80%. I'd like to know exactly where it should be based on on opposition average pfr, though.

After not getting paid off ever for the 1st half of the month and seeing more regs at the tables, over the past week I've been doing this a lot more and it works really well actually. Of course, that might be because they have previous hands on me where I wasn't doing these plays very often and that would show my % steal as lower than what it is now.

But don't do it against me because that would surely not work.

I've been 3 betting with complete trash too. Also from the button if they are CO.

It's probably just a heater but I've played 4500 hands since and am running at 12.46 ptbb.
