I've seen numerous posts on here about how miniraising is bad but what about when you are in a HU raised pot in which the Nit raised. Also take consideration of the size of the villian's flop bet size. My intentions were to get my bet sizes down on this particular hand and bet $9 on the turn then my last $6 on the river but he reraised so that was out the door.

I see lots of good players making good reads and laying down overpairs so let me know how you feel about this.

Note: I meant to get the rest of it on the flop to his reraise but it was a misclick.

If the pot is 45-ish dollars on the turn, why would he call $9 but not $15?

I didn't intend on him reraising. I was talking about if they flat called.

Nothing really wrong with this, although in this hand I think hes paying off whatever you do.

So you are okay with the miniraise in this particular hand?

It's fine so long as you're shoving turn.

It's fine here only because villain came back over the top. The problem with the minraise in this spot is that it's a very draw heavy board. I'm usually making it about $10 in that spot instead.

Don't call the reraise on the flop. Just shove. He has to call you.
